The English Rose

All I am hearing at the moment is the word Rose, Rose cleansers, Rose facial oils, Rose water, perfumes with Rose notes, Rose candles.

The beautiful delicate Rose is the Talk of the town!

I personally adore the floral and feminine scent of Rose.

Roses are a symbol of beauty and romance.

For me when using skin care products normally Rose is not my first choice, for us folks with a combination or oily skin, I would prescribe different skin care products with other ingredients.

If you have a combination skin like myself and you have been trying Rose based skincare products, but find they cause you to break out, I would advise you to revise your section of products.

In my experience of skincare products over the years containing Rose oil and Rose absolute within the facial treatments I perform, the benefits of Rose are hydrating, nourishing and soothing, giving the best results for a more dry, dehydrated, normal or sensitive skin.

Therefore for me I can only use my decadent Rose based products on my body, in my bath or I burn it as an essential oil or a fragrant candle.
